Dave Follett

Dave began his working life at sixteen with a five-year engineering apprenticeship at Lucas Aerospace, staying on for another four years afterwards. In 1985 he started an electrical business in Hemel Hempstead doing domestic work, moved into commercial contracting a decade later — shopfitting, offices, schools and main-dealer garages — and then made the decision that has defined the company since: to stop doing everything and become expert in one thing. For the last twenty-five years that has been gardens. The reasoning was simple. Garden lighting done occasionally, by people who mostly do something else, is unreliable — and it deserves to be done properly. Dave works most often alongside landscape architects and garden designers on high-end gardens across Hertfordshire and north London, and is closely involved in specifying every scheme the company installs.
